What would you prefer?

US Muslims bristle at Bush term “Islamic fascists”“We believe this is an ill-advised term and we believe that it is counter-productive to associate Islam or Muslims with fascism,” said Nihad Awad, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations advocacy group.

If you don’t like the term, give us the alternative. It is only counter productive to Islam’s goal of world domination. I suppose you would prefer we not associate Muslims with this plot at all. Just another plot by blond haired, blue-eyed women of non-specific ethnic and religious background.

“We ought to take advantage of these incidents to make sure that we do not start a religious war against Islam and Muslims,” he told a news conference in Washington.

Yes, don’t start a war. Quit resisting.

Hey, Asswad, we’re already at war, and you started it. Why don’t you start by telling your people to quit trying to blow shit up, then tell us what language to use. Or rather, what words to use. I already know you would prefer we use Arabic.

In a nutshell…

Dennis Miller comments on middle east. For those who don’t know, Dennis Miller is a comedian who has a show called Dennis Miller Live on HBO. He is not Jewish.  He recently said the following about the mid-east:

“A brief overview of the situation is always valuable, so as a service to all Americans who still don’t get it, I now offer you the story of the Middle East in just a few paragraphs, which is all you really need. Here we
go.

The Palestinians want their own country. There’s just one thing about that:
There are no Palestinians. It’s a made up word. Israel was called Palestine for two thousand years. Like “Wiccan,” “Palestinian” sounds ancient but is really a modern invention.

Before the Israelis won the land in the 1967 war, Gaza was owned by Egypt, the West Bank was owned by Jordan,  and there were no “Palestinians.” As soon as the Jews took over and started growing oranges as big as
basketballs, what do you know, say hello to the “Palestinians,” weeping for their deep bond with their lost “land” and “nation.”

So for the sake of honesty, let’s not use the word “Palestinian” anymore to describe these delightful folks, who dance for joy at our deaths, until someone points out they’re being taped.

Instead, let’s call them what they are:
“Other Arabs Who Can’t Accomplish Anything In Life And Would Rather Wrap Themselves In The Seductive Melodrama Of Eternal Struggle And Death.”

I know that’s a bit unwieldy to expect to see on CNN.
How about this, then: “Adjacent Jew-Haters.” Okay, so the Adjacent Jew-Haters want their own country. Oops, just one more thing. No, they don’t. They could’ve had their own country any time in the last thirty years, especially two years ago at Camp David but if you have your own country, you have to have traffic lights and garbage trucks and Chambers of Commerce, and, worse, you actually have to figure out some way to make a
living.

That’s no fun. No, they want what all the other Jew-Haters in the region want: Israel. They also want a big pile of dead Jews, of course — that’s where the real fun is — but mostly they want Israel.

Why? For one thing, trying to destroy Israel – or “The Zionist Entity” as their textbooks call it — for the last fifty years has allowed the rulers of Arab countries to divert the attention of their own people away from the fact that they’re the blue-ribbon most illiterate, poorest, and tribally backward on God’s Earth, and if you’ve ever been around God’s Earth . .you know that’s really saying something.

It makes me roll my eyes every time one of our pundits waxes poetic about the great history and culture of the Muslim MiddleEast. Unless I’m missing something,  the Arabs haven’t given anything to the world since Algebra,
and, by the way, thanks a hell of a lot for that one.

Chew this around & spit it out: 500 million Arabs; 5 million Jews. Think of all the Arab countries as a football field, and Israel as a pack of matches sitting in the middle of it.
And now these same folks swear that, if Israel gives them half of that pack of matches, everyone will be pals.

Really? Wow, what neat news. Hey, but what about the string of wars to obliterate the tiny country and the constant din of rabid blood oaths to drive every Jew into the sea?   Oh, that? We were just kidding.

My friend Kevin Rooney made a gorgeous point the other day: Just reverse the Numbers.
Imagine 500 million Jews and 5 million Arabs. I was stunned at the simple brilliance of it .Can anyone picture the Jews strapping belts of razor blades and dynamite to themselves?  Or marshaling every fiber and force at
their disposal for generations to drive a tiny Arab State into the sea? Or dancing for joy at the murder of innocents? Or spreading and believing horrible lies about the Arabs baking their bread with the blood of children?.

No, as you know, left to themselves in a world of peace, the worst Jews would ever do to people is debate them to death.

Mr. Bu sh, God bless him, is walking a tightrope. I understand that, with vital operations in Iraq and others, it’s in our interest, as Americans, to try to stabilize our Arab allies as much as possible, and, after all, that
can’t be much harder than stabilizing a roomful of super models who’ve just had their drugs taken away.

However, in any big-picture strategy, there’s always a danger of losing moral weight. We’ve already lost some. After September 11th, our president told us and the world he was going to root out all terrorists and the
countries that supported them.
Beautiful. Then the Israelis, after months and months of having the equivalent of an Oklahoma City every week (and then every day), start to do the same thing we did, and we tell them to show restraint.

If America were being attacked with an Oklahoma City every day, we would all very shortly be screaming for the administration to just be done with it and kill everything south of the Mediterranean and east of the Jordan”.

Just can’t help myself

I’m not sure why I’m so fascinated by Edward “Fast Eddie” Hamilton’s run for Nevada’s Senate seat. It must be the name. The only way it could be more intriguing is if his name was “Slick Louie.” So, while looking for information on him I found his Letter to Voters. It’s fairly short and to the point. It’s nice to see a campaign statement actually written by the candidate, although for something so important I might have had a friend proofread it. But , it’s clearly written by a regular guy going up against a big dog in a national election. I like that. I love the idea that in this country anybody can run for office. The “nobodies” rarely win. The deck is stacked against them as far as finances and name recognition. But that isn’t the only reason. Sometimes they just have kooky ideas. The last paragraph of Fast Eddie’s letter is this:

( 6 ) Finally, as your US Senator I will introduce legislation to fully grant the emancipation rights for 18,19,and 20 year olds as guaranteed by the 26th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution ratified thirty years ago last month. Nevada’s unemployment rate for 18,19,20 year olds are three times higher than other adults due to age discrimination. We have the only 24/7 economy on the planet and we need more people to work or the illegal aliens will get all the jobs.

As he wants 18-20 year olds to have something they don’t presently have I have to assume it is the ability to work in alcohol related jobs. Bartending, cocktail waitressing, or casino jobs related to gambling. Did Congress really pass an amendment to the Constitution granting that right?’

26th. Amendment
to the U.S. Constitution

Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.

Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Hm. I don’t see how the voting age relates to a right to work in industries that are presently off limits. If you want to lower the legal drinking and gambling age to eighteen, then say so. Don’t try to BS me about it being a Constitutional right.

What a shame

NEW YORK (Reuters) – The ABC television network said on Tuesday that it has pulled a miniseries about the Holocaust it was developing with

Mel Gibson‘s production company. The move came after Gibson was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early on Friday and was reported to have launched into a tirade against Jews, asking the arresting officer if he was a Jew and blaming the Jews for starting all wars.

The actor, who holds strong conservative Catholic religious and political views and whose father is a Holocaust denier, apologized on Saturday and has entered a rehabilitation program to treat alcoholism.

As a person who also holds “strong conservative Catholic religious and political views” let me just say for the record that Gibson’s anti-Semitic remarks in no way reflect my own views, or those of anyone I know. I would hope that most people with any sense realize that his opinions are just that; opinions. And deranged, alcoholic illusions.

I sincerely hope he gets the help he needs in rehab. For alcoholism and this more deadly affliction.

Nevada primaries (continued)…

Continuing my post on the Nevada primaries, with a little help from uselections.com. There will likely be opinions on Humboldt county candidates at some point, maybe after the primaries, if I can do it without hurting feelings. Yes, the town is that small.

LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

Active Candidates:

I don’t really care about this, Kroliki or Hammargren will probably get my vote.

* Lonnie Hammargren (R)
Ex-Lt. Governor, Retired Surgeon & ’98 Governor Candidate
* Eldon Hardy (R)
State’s Homeowners Association Ombudsman & Retired Businessman
* George Kao (R)
Business Consultant- Don’t remember exactly why I wrote him off. Either from Vegas or a transplant, or both. If I’m wrong I’ll give him another look.

* Brian Krolicki (R)
State Treasurer
* Barbara Lee Woollen (R)
Businesswoman – Woolen is running on a family values platform but her business has ties to porn. Kroliki called her on it, so she sued him. I don’t care about the porn thing, but that isn’t what the courts are for. Sorry Barb, you would have had a chance with me if you hadn’t filed that frivolous suit.

* Janet Moncrief (R)
* Bob Goodman (D)
Ex-State Economic Development Commissioner & Trade Association Executive
* Bill Montgomery (D)
* Bob Stupak (D)
Ex-Casino Owner & World Champion Poker Player- I just have to say that Stupak creeps me out. Too many face-lifts maybe.

* Bob Unger (D)
Real Estate Developer & Attorney
* Thomas Jefferson (IAP)
Retired Auto Parts Store Owner & USAF Veteran- How can you not vote for that name? Continue reading

A public “service”…

As everything in the world is being covered by every other blog, ad nauseum, I thought I might take this opportunity to voice my opinion on the upcoming elections and what I think of some of Nevada’s candidates. I’m sure it was only evident to locals where the name of my blog comes from. Nevada is the Silver State and our state flower is the silver sage. My apologies to anyone that thought I was a silver haired wise man. No doubt, after my in-depth “analysis” you won’t be thinking that anyway.

I have never really been into politics, and only have the most basic understanding of our political parties, but I think I’m an average representative of how people my age (38) view politics and elections. If my opinions seem over simplified to you, it may be that I’m dumb, but I might also suggest that you have a greater interest in the subject and I might think you’re lacking in other areas. So, again, I think I’m the average Joe on the street. Continue reading

The Dumb Cow strikes again

Well, my self-appointed arch nemesis, Cindy “Dumb Cow” Sheehan is back in the news. This time for using a surrogate to buy land near GW’s Crawford, TX ranch, because nobody in their right mind would sell it to her directly. It really should come as no surprise. She has a history of not doing things herself. Like raising her “son” Casey.

On a related note of taking credit for not actually doing anything, Dumb Cow’s “fast” is back on my radar. I wondered how she was fairing with her “only water all summer” hunger strike, and found some pictures that show a far less emaciated Cindy than I was hoping for. I would go so far as to say she is downright plump, but I must be mistaken. It must be the distended starvation belly fooling me.

If anyone is interested (Sheecow wasn’t) my counter hunger strike is going well. Except for a couple little bites, it has been a pure liquid diet since my challenge on the 14th of July when I discovered that Cindy was cheating. Why do I get to cheat? Because I’ve been on the all liquid Cindy diet since April. See, I eat through a PEG tube in my stomach. My point with this whole challenge is that what she is doing is absolutely meaningless. You think you’re suffering with your Java Juice diet? That’s how I live, bitch. You’re an insult to me, and to Casey’s memory. Hurry up and starve to death because that psycho Phelps woman is begging for my undivided attention.

Hack that…

I noticed yesterday that Aaron from the Aaron’s Case website had his blog hacked by Islamotards. I was going to be outraged, but I see he has the matter well in hand. Go check it out. WARNING: swallow your coffee before clicking here.

UPDATE 8-9-06: Never mind, they got him again. Good luck Aaron. Hope to see you again soon.

Now that’s worth fighting for…

I ran across this story via my new friends (I hope) at The Jawa Report.

I hope it doubly pains the misogynistic scrotum lickers of Hezbollah to be getting their asses handed to them by little girls. And I don’t mean that to be derogatory to these young ladies. To me, 18-19 is still a girl. What an amazing country Israel must be to produce such beautiful ladies ready to risk their lives for their own security. No wonder the men are some of the best fighters in the world. Just look at their mothers.

While I’m on the subject of beautiful women, the folks at Israelims podcast posted a picture of their lovely daughter Arielle. Be proud Mom and Dad.
